New Google Assistant Mask Song Offers Safety Reminder

New Google Assistant Mask Song Offers Safety Reminder

google assistant mask song

If you have a hard time remembering to wear a mask when you leave the house, the new Google Assistant mask song might be just the reminder you need. It’s a cute little ditty that hammers home the importance of protecting yourself and others when you’re out in public.

As great as it would be if we didn’t need to wear masks in public, that just isn’t the case. However, at least Google Assistant’s new song will put a smile on your face before you head out to face the world.

The New Google Assistant Mask Song

The new song, which was first discovered by Android Police, is quick and to the point. It runs through the importance of wearing a mask when you go out in the cutest, most pleasant way possible.

Here are the complete lyrics to Google Assistant’s new tune:

When in public, wear a mask

Just a teeny, weeny task

It helps keep us safe and sound

Health and care, all around

On your mouth and on your nose

Good to cover both of those

Of course, it’s not enough to just wear a mask covering your chin. You need to cover both your mouth and nose in order for a mask to be effective at stopping (or at least slowing) the spread of COVID-19. In case you forget that key fact, Google Assistant will remind you at the end of its new song.

This isn’t Google Assistant’s first song related to the COVID-19 situation. Google previously added a song about washing your hands for 40 seconds. That song was very helpful, because it was actually 40 seconds long, making it easy to keep track of how long you’ve been washing your hands for.

How to Hear the New Google Assistant Mask Song

To hear Google’s new song, you simply need to say “Hey Google, sing me a song.” You can also say, “Hey Google, do you wear a mask?” In our testing, however, the latter didn’t work, so it’s possible that Google hasn’t pushed the update required for Assistant to recognize that command just yet.

Google Assistant can do a lot more than just sing you songs about the need to wear a mask. So be sure to check out our list of things you didn’t know Google Assistant could do.
